Dream Weaver is the first system, consisting of a wearable device and an app, that gives you precise control over your dreams. Prompt or design what to dream about, and the device will induce sleep, initiate dreaming, and bring your stories to life. Experience every emotion, sight, sound, and sensation with real-world realism, all from the safety of dreams.
A breakthrough years in the making
Artificial intelligence has been one of the greatest revolutions of our era. Transformers, the foundational architecture behind modern generative AI, taught machines to understand language, and the world changed. Today, we are announcing another milestone: breakthrough research in dream capturing, initiation and modification. And with it comes Dream Weaver, a patent-pending, non-invasive, lightweight wearable device that can interface with the human mind through dreams.
This breakthrough is the result of new, innovative techniques in machine learning used to process and classify brain electrical activity from thousands of naturally occurring dream sessions paired with similar analysis of brain activity under thousands of hours of immersive virtual reality experiences, using novel, non-invasive, high-density EEG sensors. From that data we trained Morpheus, our Dream Sensation Model (DSM): the first AI model that can read, interpret, and compose the neural language of dreams.
What Dream Weaver does
Dream Weaver pairs a phone app with a wearable device designed as a headband that can quickly induce sleep and initiate custom dreams designed through the app, or simply tell it to wait for you to naturally fall asleep before it weaves in your custom dream.
Describe and refine your custom dream the way you'd prompt an AI chat, with text and images, and preview it as AI-generated video within the app. Specify real world locations or describe imaginary universes and how you'd like to interact with it. Include public figures or describe humans or animals to generate. Make it as generic or as specific as you like, or load public dream worlds shared by others. Describe the impossible! Want to fly as a superhero over New York? Just add it to your prompt.
To increase variability, include autonomous AI agents when describing your dream world — people, animals, machines, objects or places that act on their own accord inside your dream without you explicitly describing what they do. In addition, browse through and add agents and extensions from the Dream Store, built by developers using Morpheus SDK.
Once your prompt or design is finalized, Morpheus, our cloud Dream Sensation Model (DSM), processes it into encoded dream sequences, encrypts them, and delivers them to your Dream Weaver. The device waits for and detects that you've settled into sleep position with eyes closed before sending signals to initiate sleep, dream state, and the sequences generated by Morpheus.
Natural dreams are fleeting, fragmented, and random — we forget most of them. Dream Weaver dreams are not. They are coherent, continuous, fully recallable, and rendered with a fidelity that participants in our trials describe as indistinguishable from real life.
Once your story runs to completion, you'll wake on your own, to gentle timed rhythms from the device, or the old-fashioned way — an outside voice, a touch, an alarm — exactly as you would from any ordinary sleep.
Save your sessions as dream histories. Woke up before the story ended? Resume a saved dream exactly where you left off. Dream Weaver can also capture your naturally occurring dreams, and present them back to you as text, images or video within the app.
Create a dream world containing you, your partner, your friends, or your family, and step into it together in sync. Dream Weaver supports group sessions connecting multiple devices wirelessly, all end-to-end encrypted.

Learn while you sleep! Write a simple prompt containing what you'd like to learn, and the way you learn best (e.g., "I'm reviewing a summary of key findings from the book Deep Learning on flash cards."), or take a more creative approach putting yourself in a scene where you are already a master of your field (e.g., "I am the best AI researcher in the world giving a TED talk on Deep Learning.") and let Dream Weaver build your dream session around it. The possibilities are endless.
Dream Weaver is a groundbreaking, unprecedented tool for learning. Our research shows dramatically more efficient learning and long-term recall after a Dream Weaver induced study session versus equivalent real-world studying while awake. A significant number of trial participants have studied parts of new language, literature, and computer programming in their Dream Weaver induced dreams, and retained it with near-perfect recall when given a test in the real-world days later.

Privacy
Dreams are some of the most intimate personal data. As such, Dream Weaver sessions are end-to-end encrypted using your unique biometric signature.
When you first put on a Dream Weaver device, it calibrates to you, generating a unique biometric signature that serves two purposes: it personalizes Morpheus's encodings to your individual neural patterns, and it anchors end-to-end encryption of everything you dream. Only you, with your unique biometric signature, can initiate and access dreams on your device or through the app, and every new session re-establishes a biometric check that requires active confirmation from you.
Unless you choose to share your dreams on the app, what happens in your dream world remains in your dream world — even we can't access it.
Safety
One of the most important questions anyone can ask about a technology involving sleep is the simplest one: is it safe?
First, Dream Weaver induces sleep through a novel mechanism. Unlike traditional sleep drugs and anesthesia, it works with the brain's own sleep circuitry, reverse engineered with the help of AI, instead of overriding it. It never introduces any drug into the bloodstream or the brain. Second, despite being able to induce sleep and REM state rapidly, it doesn't impair the brain's natural ability to regulate sleep-wake cycles. Finally, device induced sleep is always temporary, akin to regular sleep, easily reversible through stimulation regardless of how long your dream session was designed or prompted to last. Dream Weaver can wake you up, others can wake you up through voice or touch, or your body will naturally wake you up over time.
